On Nov 15, zappos CEO Tony Hsieh was a part of his 3 month bus tour across USA. Zappos is promoting the book ‘Delivering Happiness’ by Tony Hsieh. I happened to sign up for this event for apparent reasons – “getting inspired”, which is also a part of their campaign – ‘Inspire and Be Inspired’. It was a nice evening followed by book signing by Tony himself. They have a unique and a cool work culture that revolves around customer happiness. In fact they also have an official position in Zappos – “Chief happiness officer”. Got to speak to Tony for a bit about their work culture and got the book signed by him.
The book is a very good read, details about the risks taken by an entrepreneur and how doing what matters the most to you is the best way to success. Well done Tony!
